Ex-display & clearance bargains, all in one place

What is ex-display.co.uk?

Ex-display.co.uk is a UK marketplace for ex-display, ex-demo and clearance stock. It brings together showroom models, end-of-line lines and cancelled-order items from UK retailers and independent sellers in one place, and links each listing straight through to eBay. The site does not hold stock or process orders, and it is free to browse.

The listings started life on showroom floors, in demonstrations or as end-of-line stock, which means they were chosen to show a range at its best rather than being used day to day. As a result they are usually in very good condition, and the saving against buying new can be considerable, particularly on bigger pieces like sofas, kitchens, garden buildings and appliances.

You will find most things for the home across the site, from sofas, kitchens and bathrooms to bedroom furniture, garden buildings, appliances and technology, alongside dedicated pages for brands and retailers such as John Lewis, DFS, Sofology and Häcker. Each listing is a one-off, so the range changes as stock sells and new clearance lines come in. It is worth checking back, or browsing the categories, to see what has turned up.

Why buy ex-display and clearance?

The appeal of ex-display is simple. A showroom model or clearance piece has usually seen little real use, so you get something close to new for a fraction of the price. On big-ticket items like kitchens, sofas, garden buildings and appliances, that difference can run to hundreds or thousands of pounds.

Because each piece is cleared individually, it pays to move reasonably quickly on anything that fits. Check the listing for the condition, the measurements and how the seller handles delivery or collection, then click through to buy directly from the source.
